The following are schematic drawings to illustrate a new structure on Fort Lauder-dale Beach. The problem occurred when the City of Fort Lauder dale was trying to find a vista or Gateway to the beach on a property on the beach and Las Olas Boulevard  Hence a small structure four floors but open and terraces up. The center stage is Hugh enough for almost any theatrical performance. The entire stages acts like elevator to decline to sub stage. Set in 3 seperate elevators. This allows for changing of set design.

All roof seats and tables have a canopy roof. - simple and open.

Terraces are open with no overhang.

1st Orchestra level is hugh. With 2 lower musical pits for full orchestra.

4th -The Resturant on the top level is a full time facility.

3rd - Blue Longue a full time pub with food.

2nd level is full Mezzaine with automatic food dispensers in Mezzanine Lobby


1st The Retail after corner Garden is to form movement along building. 3 stores then Valet and Garage Entrance along Southern End of the property.

The concept is a J shaped structure with the longer part facing the Atlantic Ocean. 

The above diagram shows the second floor. Covered Mezzanine, Uncovered Mezzanine, and Long Balcony facing Ocean with four rows in box formation. 

Above Section shows first floor as Back stage for production. Mostly hidden placed under the double terrace surrounding theater.

1st floor - note need to add room for palms throughout boarder of property, foliage. 

The property use as an amphiltheatre - or open theater can me muti funcitonal.   From 2 floors as separate Restaurants/Club, opened daily. And the Stage for full theatrical products, musicals, ballet,  to Comedy. Also Boxing can be another platform as well as live events such as World Cup, Tennis, Olympics.  The positional of performances is endless. Adding a Wedding or private party as an option on the 4th and 3rd floor with use of grand stage and orchestra floor. Makes this outdoor theater on the Beach an addition to Fort Lauderdale  beach like no other. For a city owned property, this structure can bring become a Hugh cash flow.


The Big Screen -
a club with 50 foot wide projection screen. To show movies or live events. A lounge or private club to attend for your viewing pleasure. A wide screen with your favorite opera live at the MET. beach now on a terrace at table over looking the Atlantic Ocean.

The Big Screen is and was invented by Kevin Tarr while working at HBO Incorporated as a concept for them. To bad I was in Security.  Warner Brothers. A new club. A new venue.
