I believe I hope by Sir Jeremiah O. Kennedy

To Assad

I believe I hope
The Muslim Brotherhood can make an influence in Egypt and the women of Iran in a Western Muslim country can force an image of what an Arab country can be and become.

I hope the new tyrants that where brought apon us can see the public forming in the streets. The house wives and the students who came out during the uprising in Egypt. Not for oil but for a way
a life. A life of rights a life without the degrading regime one must live under.

Before we can move forward we need to move backwards to see if we accomplished anything at
all during this new revolution of the Arab World. To see how far we have come we need to look towards Egypt in the election and lets see how promising that can become. So lets not move backwards. Lets go beyond Afganistan and no girls allowed in schools. That was the reason why
I got involved in the first place. So I reach out to the Iranian and Egyptian youth and women To the men who are tired.

I am asking that those in leadership roles say enough is enough....take the high road...We are
asking not for once self or for glory but for the Muslim and Arab people.

To M Q. - the fact that you would tell the 40 + men meeting in London: Topic : rebuilding Libya with the Arab community involved that we should stop this bombardment of the Libyan people when it was your son that came out on Public television to reveal that he will and you will divide
the country and start destroying and the say......o by the way what u are doing is unjust.

To Assad -maybe its time you dont listen to those around you and listen to your people
just a thought....i do hope u can see this .

To Lavrov - FM - Russia - I do agree its time to stop this Libya conflict end. You should have never have given them the go ahead....So now what with Syria. Not happy.

I think we should all come to terms is that this is a People War and no more.

All the Best

The Interim National Council in Benghazi -- a 30-member opposition leadership -- is mostly made up of lawyers, doctors, intellectuals and former political prisoners with a secular bent.
In a statement Monday, the Council stated the ultimate goal of the revolution was "to build a constitutional democratic civil state based on the rule of law, respect for human rights and the guarantee of equal rights and opportunities for all its citizens including ... equal opportunities between men and women and the promotion of women empowerment."
"We've been working secretly till this moment," he said. H

Notes

a few points today, at the state department briefing.

1st - On Jake's question relating to how many lives have to be lost, or at what point did Qaddafi or the Libya go to far........ Mo mar Q. has already gone to far....he has already past the line.

2nd on Alysse question (which are always on the ball)...is Libya in a civil war....Yes

3rd on Mats question relating the the mater of Senator Kerry's idea of taking the funds from the Libya frozen assets. The idea does have merit. You could take the interest alone and keep the capital. There by breaking no laws.

4th - On the mater of De recognizing a Country - the United States no longer has relations with present government and therefore is not recognized at all. Individuals within the country of Libya as a resistance will be recognized.

I may be a freak but at least i am not a monster.

Iran - Syrian (mercinaries in Libya) -

This Morning we wake up Gaddaffi's Massacre by Sir Jeremiah Kennedy..Libya, Bahrain, Egypt, Human rights

When the Security Council meet over the weekend some on the council were not so sure
that a problem existed in Libya at least enough to warrant the need for a " No fly zone".
When Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov says that a No fly zone is " Superfluous".

Granted I had to do a refrence and look up the work in the dictionary.
Superfluous: Being beyond was is required or sufficient.
So by the end of the day, which should be around 5pm eastern standard time. We should have a
body count in the hundreds. A war crime happening as we write, speak, drive to work.

It seems to me that the Gaddaffi boys would not be doing this if not for the hand of Russia, Were did they
get all these nerves from. Do you know how I can tell. You said no to a no fly zone. That what gave you away.
But then again Russia says we should continue "talking" to the Iranians about there nuclear program. Yet for the past 3 years Irans answer is we will not budge "one Iota" and the latest meeting position was we will talk about everything but our nuclear program.

It does not seem to me that Russia is not on the side of democracy, the people no mater what religion or the basic dignity of stoping a genocide.

News prior:
The resolution refers human rights violations in Libya to the International Criminal Court, and includes a travel ban, assets freeze on Libyan leaders, and an arms embargo.

"These sanctions and accountability mechanisms should make all members of the Libyan regime think about the choice they have before them," said Susan Rice. "Violate human rights and be held accountable, or stop the violence and respect the Libyan people's call or change.  There is no escaping that critical choice."

Rice responded to comments by the Libyan leader
"It sounds just frankly, delusional," she said. "When he can laugh in talking to American and international journalists, while he is slaughtering his own people, it only underscores how unfit he is to lead and how disconnected he is from reality."
